The writing competition we have been hosting at Arsenal Latest is over but we would like to take this opportunity to thank all the writers that participated.

We had seven entries overall with mixed reactions to some but we commend the bravery from the writers to tackle difficult subjects.

Just to remind everyone of how the winner was determined. Each qualified writer became a judge and got one vote each – you couldn’t vote for yourself.

Every article that featured in the top three for unique views were awarded three bonus votes.

Drumroll and the winner is…

We had a tie! The winners of our competition were David Gold and Adonis Pratsides they both received five votes each to win.

The prize money of £100 will be split between the two and for one final time we want to thank everyone for contributing.
