Arsenal have been linked with a move for Torino attacker and Italian international Alessio Cerci with Football Italia reporting that scouts from various Premier League clubs will be watching the former Fiorentina man in action currently against Nigeria at Craven Cottage.

Cerci has been sensational in Serie A this season finding the net eight times in eleven starts, and one substitute appearance, and creating three goals for team mates.

According to the Daily Star, Manchester United are also interested in the player that has been used as a second striker this season but is equally adept as a winger as well.

David Moyes is interested in making a move for him in January but Wenger could steal a march on his rival and attempt to sign the 26-year-old under the noise of the Red Devil boss.

The Star report that Torino are demanding a £16 million sum to see their new star leave the Stadio Olimpico.

However, TalkSport believe he is rated at £12.5 million and they also suggest that Manchester United and Arsenal aren’t the only two Premier League teams looking to sign the Italian.

Tottenham and Liverpool are also interested in the ex-Roma player who spent seven years with the Rome giants but failed to make a notable impression.

It leaves questions marks as to how he would cope at another big club if Arsenal were to make a move for him in the new year.

His performances this season for Torino however have warranted this attraction from the big English clubs because he has been a shinning light for Torino.

If he was to be subject to a move to the Emirates in 2014 then hopefully the Italian could light up north London like he is currently in Turin.
