It has been released today that Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti is not willing to let go of Spanish youngster and Arsenal target Alvaro Morata.
Ancelotti has been quoted saying:
“Our thinking is very clear. There will be no new players and no exits. We have a very good squad”
This could come as a blow to Arsene Wenger as he was hoping to bring in the young forward on a 6 month loan and then he could purchase his main targets in the summer when they are not as expensive.
Talks of buying
With a loan having no chance of forming Wenger was reportedly even ready to buy the Spaniard permanently in January which clearly shows how highly Wenger values the player. This however is still not an option for Madrid and they would only accept a big money offer.
Liverpool also denied
Today has also been a day of disappointment for Liverpool as they have also had a firm bid for Morata denied.
Standing firm
It seems that Madrid really do not want to let the promising attacker go no matter how long for. However for a player that is often on the bench, Madrid will surely let him go for a high figure amount of money.
