Arsenal goalkeeper Lukas Fabianski has reportedly turned down the chance to renew his contract at the Gunners as he looks to leave a free agent at the end of the season.
With constantly being behind Szczesny in both Arsenal colours and Polish colours the shot stopper is looking to be no1 at a different club.
“With biggest respect to this great club, I didn’t accept the extension offer as I am looking forward to a new challenge in England or abroad.”
Not good enough to be a Gunner
Although throughout his career at Arsenal he has had some decent performances; Fabianski has never been able to ensure he has hold of the no1 spot in London.
So maybe he isn't good enough to be no1 at Arsenal but that doesn't mean he doesn't have the ability to go to good clubs in the world. Just look at Mannone, remembered at Arsenal for both good and bad moments at Arsenal, like his blunder against Milan. Now he is a hero at Sunderland after getting them to the Capital One Cup final.
Wherever Fabianski does end up, don't be surprised to see him playing well in his new colours.
