Tomorrow could form one of Arsenal’s biggest moments in their history and can shape how this season could end.
Most Arsenal fans are saying the tie is over but the optimist will point to last year’s result. It will be difficult but the boys will give everything.
All the talk has been about this humongous challenge and here are some of the views.
Wenger’s Verdict
Wenger certainly knows the enormity of the challenge which lies ahead and summed it up well which was courtesy of Sky Sports.
"It is a possible task, that is the most important thing. My team has quality and ambition," said Wenger. "History is important in our belief. We know we can do it, because we have already done it (before).”
"The way to win is to produce a top-level performance and turn up with quality and belief.
"The statistics are against us, but we have won 5-1 at Inter, we have won everywhere in Europe," he said. "We have had a few good nights in Europe but it would be absolutely great (if we won tomorrow)."
Giroud also gave us his view:
“We need to keep a clean sheet and we will need a lot of things together; to score goals, not concede goals and [to show] a really good commitment.”
The impossible dream
This is Arsenal’s biggest challenge and will certainly prove to be that. However, football is a funny old game and if Arsenal score early then I’m sure the adrenalin will start pumping.
