With the contract renewals of Aaron Ramsey and Santi Cazorla yesterday, Arsenal fans can’t help but just be happy.

Ramsey was always a promising player before his injury and now it seems that he’s captured what everyone was looking forward to.

With 13 goals this season (not to mention he’s been injured since Boxing Day) Ramsey has been one of the Gunners best players in the 13/14 season and its brilliant news to see him commit long term to the Arsenal as many of the top clubs in the world are most probably interested in him.

Even Ramsey himself has been impressed with himself this season:

"I think this has been my best season, the number of goals I've scored early on up until Christmas time, I think that was quite good for a midfielder to do and that's been one of the biggest improvements.”

Who’s next then?

So after a good couple of weeks of contract renewals, you can’t help but think there should be more to come. The obvious one is Sagna as his contract runs out at the end of the season, as does Arsene Wenger’s but the club have already announced that he will be staying, yet we are still waiting for him to put pen to paper which is making people nervous.

However it is rumoured that Koscielny is the next player to sign a new contract which could be seen as even better news that Sagna staying as the brick wall that is the Mertesacker and Koscielny partnership can now continue.

These are exciting times for Arsenal Football Club as it seems we are finally keeping hold of our best players, so now we just sit and wait for even more brilliant news.
