According to sports reporter Francois Piraux Serge Aurier will sign for Arsenal this summer. Aurier has been linked with Arsenal for a while and plays at right back which may be a clear indication that Sagna is about to depart.

Francois Piraux tweeted:

“EXCLUSIVE: Toulouse defender Serge Aurier will sign to Arsenal this summer.”

“News about Serge Aurier from a reliable source and a friend.”

The Metro describes Aurier as:

“A fast, strong and athletic defender with an eye for goal, Aurier can also play at left-back or as a right winger and is valued at about £10million.”

Personally, I haven’t seen much of Aurier but a host of clubs have looked at him.

I trust Wenger’s judgement on this and let’s just get the deal over the line.

One good thing is that it looks like Arsenal are trying to get deals done early.
