Mario Mandžukić is leaving Bayern Munich and his next club could be from London but which club?

The Croatian forward has been linked with both Chelsea and Arsenal as speculation had circulated that he would depart Germany.

Croatian is leaving Munich

The 28-year-old has now confirmed to Jutarnji List that he intends to leave Bayern, Sky Sports reported his quotes.

Mandžukić said:

"A lot has been written and said about my future, especially before the German cup final in Berlin and I can tell you that before this - I think on May 8 - along with my agent Ivan Cvjetkovic, we had a decent conversation and exchange of views with Karl-Heinz Rummenigge [Bayern chief executive].

"I said to him that I had decided to change and that it was fair to inform him and the club's leadership.

"After the first game with Real Madrid [in the Champions League semi-finals] I definitely realised that no matter what happened I could not be at my best.

"Because of this, I think it is best that we part company.”

Mandžukić did conclude by insisted that a decision on where he will go will not be made until after the World Cup, he added:

"When there is concrete news, everyone will be told but I am now concentrating on the World Cup.”

Chelsea and Manchester United linked

Following the 28-year-olds comments, the Daily Mirror report that Arsenal and Chelsea are on alert and are keen on securing the services of the talented forward.

Even though the Croatian has two years remaining on his Bayern contract it seems certain now that he’ll leave and Arsenal and Chelsea have both had him watched.

The Metro state that Manchester United are interested, also, however it seems likely that London could be his next destination but would the Croatian be welcomed to the Emirates.

Mario Balotelli and Loic Remy have already been linked with a move to Arsenal over the weekend, surely Mandžukić couldn’t come as well?
