Sami Khedira could be the next summer signing after the confirmation of Sanchez and the imminent confirmation of Debuchy.

Spanish reports suggest Arsenal have submitted a €30 million euro bid for the midfielder however, wages could be a stumbling block.

This comes after Ivan Gazidis confirmed to Arsenal fan TV that a defensive midfield could be the next but wouldn’t talk about it as the deal is not done. Robbie asked holding midfielder? Which Gazidis replied “I’m not going to talk about it until it’s done”

He said: “We’ve pulled off a good one with Alexis Sanchez, it’s a great signing for us. I’m happy for the club, but there’s more work to be done.”

When asked about buying a holding midfielder, he said: “I’m not going to talk about it until it’s done. I’ve got to get back, we’ve got more work to do.”

This is good news for Arsenal as it’s looking like they are trying to get deals done as well as bringing in big names.

Khedira viewed by many not to be the right option would provide a boost for the club.

A solid international box to box midfielder  who can put in the defensive work and would show the pulling power we have.

Moreover, it may help Ӧzil as they are best friends.
