After the 120 minute World Cup final last night one certain World Cup winner has been not only linked with a move to Arsenal, but now seems to be a done deal!

Sami Khedira could not feature last night for Germany but according to ‘AS’ and ‘Sport’, very popular papers in Spain, Sami could feature for Arsenal next season as he has reportedly agreed to join the gunners earning €10 million a year.

Seeing as the German is in his last year at Madrid he was looking for a move away as he didn’t feel  ‘loved or valued’ and decided on the Gunners as he ‘always liked Arsenal’

Boost for fans and a certain Arsenal player

It is evident that Mikel Arteta struggled in his position last season against top opposition; Khedira would give Arsenal a whole new dimension, giving the Gunners that much needed muscle and power in the middle of the park and not to mention cover for our two centre backs.

If a transfer like this were to go through it would give fans a whole new boost of confidence and a real belief that we could clinch the title next season.

A certain Arsenal number 11 would also be extremely pleased with the signing of his former Madrid teammate as they are used to each other both on and off the pitch as they are good friends and played together at Madrid and for the German national side.

Whilst there has been no talk of a medical having been booked so far, it looks like Arsenal mean business this year, as seen by the Sanchez signing and Khedira looking close to wearing red.
