Jack Wilshere has come and apologised for his latest controversy which has seen him smoking for the second time.

However, Wilshere spoke about the incident from Arsenal’s training camp in New York.

“I made a mistake then, and I made a mistake again – people make mistakes. I’m young and I’ll learn from it. I realise the consequences it has and the effect it has on the kids growing up. It’s unacceptable. I’ll accept the consequences and move on.”

Jack was honest in his interview and goes onto comment about knowing what children think especially being a dad himself.

However, he was keen to focus on the future and move on from the incident.

Wilshere admitted it was a big season for him and this is why he come back to pre-season early.

“This season is a big one for me," he added

"I came back to pre-season early to show everyone my commitment and I’m fully committed to the club, and to my job, and I want to show everyone that.”

“This year we’ve really been positive, gone into the market and signed a couple of great players.”

"Over the past few seasons I've had a few injuries. This season I'm looking to have a really great pre-season and get a really good base of fitness and take that into the season."

Wilshere knows what he has done and it’s time to move on now and focus on the team. His interview shows a lot of positivity moving forward.

Jack Wilshere needs to come of age now and mature in my opinion as he is going to have a battle on his hands if he is to play every week for Arsenal.
