Arsenal have received more good news on the injury front after Theo Walcott posted a video on Instagram showing his progress following his cruciate ligament injury.
The England international suffered the injury during the Gunners FA Cup victory over Tottenham in January.
He has been sidelined ever since and missed out on the club’s FA Cup triumph and England’s World Cup campaign.
Walcott getting stronger and quicker
However, the Metro posted the midfielder’s video of him sprinting on Arsenal’s training ground with the words “Getting #Stronger & #Quicker everyday!!!! #SpeedMatters.”
With competition for his place upped following the signing of Chilean Alexis Sanchez, Walcott will be desperate to be back in the first team fold as soon as possible.
Before his injury last season the attacker had been in impressive form scoring five times and earning four assists in 13 Premier League appearances.
A fit Theo would help Gunners cause
Arsenal fans will hope the 25-year-old returns to the previous form he showed and doesn’t carry any lasting effects from the injury.
A fit and flying Walcott will go someway to helping the Gunners enjoy a successful 2014/15 campaign, fingers crossed he returns to his old form and Arsene Wenger has plenty to choose for in the club’s quest for glory.
