According to the Metro, it seems as though the transfer saga of Krystian Bielik moving toward completion. This comes following statements from Bielik’s agent claiming he is confident a deal will be finalised within the next few days.

The Gunners have had two bids already rejected and a third one on the way, as reported yesterday so perhaps there has been a breakthrough in negotiations.

Bielik’s agent Cezary Kucharski stated his client could be a gunner by the end of the transfer window:

‘We are speaking and hopefully we will find a solution,’ Kucharski told The Guardian.

Bielik, hailed as the new Patrick Vieira, is certainly hyped for greatness and it seems Arsene Wenger has faith in the young 17-year-old.

Many Arsenal fans are concerned that perhaps Wenger is signing another youth player and someone who will not have an instant impact on the team. The Gunners boss however has made a name for himself with developing young talent such as Cesc Fabregas.

Perhaps he sees the same in Bielik and all he needs is a chance to shine for the North London club to silence his critics.

Bielik himself has admitted the deal is more or less done and that he has agreed a deal with the Gunners and that it is only a matter of time for it to be finalised:

“I’ve made a decision [to join Arsenal] and I’m not going to change it,” he said. “I am looking forward to an agreement between the heads of the clubs. I realise that the negotiations may take some time. I am, however, confident it will happen soon.”

This is an interesting deal for me. Wenger knows that the fans want signing this window, with names like Cavani and William Carvalho being thrown around but perhaps Wenger has seen something in Bielik that could surprise even the most hardcore Gooner.

Let’s hope he has otherwise there could well be a backlash from the supporters.
