According to The Express, PSG have run out of patience with the form of Uruguayan superstar Edinson Cavani.

Both Cavani and Ezequiel Lavezzi were fined and dropped by PSG this week after failing to report for a winter training camp in Morocco. Cavani however has claimed he was only visiting his friend German Fernandez ahead of his Doha Rally.

It is well documented that Cavani seems unhappy at PSG, due to the fact he has to be played out of position to make way for the main man, Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Reports in France however are claiming that PSG have become fed up of Cavani’s antics and do not want to let this latest incident slide and instead they would rather get rid of the striker altogether.

The report however does believe it will not be until summer before he can leave Paris, much to the dismay of Arsenal fans. Cavani has been linked with a whole host of clubs in recent including Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United to say a few.

This is surely good news for Wenger as it seems Cavani is available at the right price. Wenger did state in an interview he would be if the right player became available, so could this be the situation he was talking about?

Cavani’s presence upfront could really boost Arsenal’s firepower. Sanchez, Walcott and Cavani upfront would be something of a dream line up and something which should excite Arsenal fans.

Hopefully Wenger chances his arm this window and puts in a big money bid to test the PSG Board’s resolve. He could well try now and beat Liverpool and United to the punch and try and get a deal on the table before the other clubs have a chance to negotiate.

This should certainly be a deal the Gunners should take up.
