According to reports from Greece, Olympiakos are interested in signing Tomas Rosicky to add experience to their roster.

The 34-year-old was hardly seen on the pitch during the first half of the season and the Greek side are believed to have made an attempt the most out of the situation to lure him to Karaiskakis Stadium.

However, the player’s agent immediately cleared the air by stating that the midfielder had turned down the offer.

Despite his stuttering start to 2014/15 campaign, the Czech Republic captain is on a terrific run of form as of late.

Mikel Arteta heaped praise on his team-mate after his performance against Queens Park Rangers lauding his vision, diligence and cleverness.

“It’s hard to find players like Tomas Rosicky, who can be that clever and do things so simply and lively on the pitch. He’s always very alert with very high concentration levels during the game and that’s why he’s so good.”

Tomas Rosicky has featured in five Barclays Premier League games this season scoring once and he can be expected to be part of the squad that plays Stoke City tomorrow.
