Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is apparently very keen on the sign of duo Joao Pereria and Jose Luis Gaya to strengthen the Arsenal defence according to The Metro today.

Reports in Spain are claiming the Gunners are looking to acquire the services of both Valencia players with Pereira to play centre-back and 19-year old Gaya to play on the left side of defence.

Pereira has been linked with North London rivals too however Wenger is keen to get both players in a double swoop. A deal to sign both players would set the Gunners back around £35million.

Marcelo Brozovic

According to his agent, Marcelo Brozovic is on the receiving end of major bids from big Premier League clubs. The midfielder has been heavily linked with a move to the Emirates so perhaps a bid has been lodged.

TMW have reported that agent Miroslav Bicanic has denied rumours that Brozovic is to join Napoli and said no Serie A side have been in contact about the Croatian.

"I deny what circulates in the last days, the track that sees Brozovic wear the shirt Neapolitan is not true. I have not heard anything from their leaders. Offers have come in from major English clubs, but right now I do not feel to name names, “said Borzoi agent on the offers from the Premier League.

Hector Moreno

Espanyol defender Hector Moreno is the latest player to be linked to Arsenal with news that he has now changed agents, according to a Spanish newspaper. Moreno has moved to the Mino Raiola camp who works with players such as Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Mario Balotelli.

Sport Go have offered fresh reports claiming that the Gunners are preparing an €8million bid for the defender and that Raiola will meet with the Espanyol over the next coming days over a possible move. The Spanish are reportedly ready to negotiate over a move and Raiola is known for getting deals done and having transfer moving fast, so who knows if this could happen or not.
