Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has given an update and latest news for his team’s trip to Brighton for the FA Cup fourth round tie.

Arsenal have taken a few knocks in recent weeks with injuries and it appears that some players are still to recover.

Danny Welbeck (thigh) will, once again, miss the game due to injury. Both Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Hector Bellerin will face late fitness tests following the physical game at the Etihad stadium on Sunday.

Arteta and Debuchy are still out while the Gunner’s newest signing Krystian Bielik is not fully fit and will be out for the next 3 weeks as he returns from his winter break.

“He has only just come from Poland,” he said, “so he is not fit because they had a winter break. He won’t play.”

By the sounds of it young Bielik is going straight into the Arsenal first team. At the age of seventeen it is certainly a big shout by Arsene Wenger o it’s exciting to see what this young guy can bring to the Arsenal midfield.

All other players seem like they are available for the fourth round tie. The current holder of the FA Cup are also boosted by the fact that German winger Serge Gnabry has returned to full training after suffering a nasty knee injury, an injury that kept him out for over 10 months.

It seems as though the Gunners are at nearly full strength for this game, bar their long term injuries, so expect a fairly tough side to be starting at the weekend as Arsenal look to once again go on a cup run that will hopefully finish with us back a Wembley.
