Arsenal are already on a terrific run of form lately and they are set to further add quality to their strikeforce with the return of Danny Welbeck.

The English international suffered a long injury layoff due to his thigh injury that he sustained at Upton Park. He has since been on the sidelines missing the Gunners’ rout of Stoke City, Manchester City and Aston Villa.

The 24-year-old is set to give selection boost for Arsene Wenger as he’s set to return to action against Tottenham Hotspur this weekend after returning to full training recently.

However, he will find it extremely difficult to get back into the starting lineup given the form of Olivier Giroud and others.

Arsenal have averaged 2.5 goals per game since the start of 2015 and their manager may not want to rattle the harmony that currently exists in the squad. Thus, Danny Welbeck may have to impress his manager to cement his spot in the team.

Since his multi-million move from Manchester United, he has found the back of the net on seven different occasions for the Emirates Stadium club and will be hoping to add on to that tally.
