Arsenal are looking to bounce back quickly from that crushing defeat to North London rivals, Tottenham at the weekend. The Gunners have a great chance to do so with a midweek tie against Leicester. Leicester are currently bottom in the Premier League and come at a good time for Arsenal who look to up their confidence again.

Injury news

Alexis is back in the squad and could feature against Leicester, spoke Wenger today:

"Alexis will be back in the group and we don’t have any injuries from Saturday."

Sanchez missed the defeat to Spurs on Saturday but is said to be keen to get back into the team.

Arsenal are still without long term injuries, Mathieu Debuchy (shoulder) and Mikel Arteta who is still out for some time.

The Gunners will have to face Leicester without midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain who is still a few weeks off returning:

"Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is about two weeks [away from returning]."

Fans will be happy to know Jack Wilshere has returned to full training today. It will be some time until he is back however and will not feature tomorrow:

"He’s back in full training this week. I don’t know exactly [how long until he returns], we have to monitor him on a daily basis and see how he develops."

Team Shape

I wouldn’t expect many changes for tomorrow’s game at the Emirates.

Ospina should still be between the sticks while the back four will presumably be unchanged.

Coquelin will almost certainly partner Ramsey in midfield as it has been working well up until last week. Cazorla will play in a more advanced midfield role and I would assume Ozil will start out on the left.

It’s a toss-up for who will play on the right. My gut feeling is that Alexis will get the nod tomorrow to start. He has been a shining star in a tricky season for Arsenal however if you see Walcott on the starting list don’t be surprised. Olivier Giroud will almost definitely be up front.

Expected line-up

Ospina; Bellerin, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Gibbs; Coquelin, Cazorla, Ramsey; Walcott, Ozil, Giroud

If Cazorla is given room to work his magic and no pressure is put on Ozil, this should be a comfortable win. With the power on the bench for Arsenal such as Rosicky, Walcott and Welbeck, we have enough depth off the field to change the game if we need to. Arsenal should simply just have too much quality for Leicester.
