Palermo fought off strong interests from Arsenal and a host of other Premier League clubs in January to keep hold of their goal-machine in Paulo Dybala, but recent reports suggest that Arsenal and Juventus are in pole position for the signature of the Argentine.
He has been involved in nineteen goals in twenty two Serie A appearances and that has attracted interests from Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea and Napoli.
To make his move from the Italian club more feasible, his relationship with club president Maurizio Zamparini is in shambles and his close associate, Guglielmo Micciche revealed that they had received bids that they cannot afford to turn down for the 21-year-old.
"We have received many offers from many European clubs,” said club vice-president Guglielmo Micciche.
“For example, yesterday in Milan there were many English scouts. He will leave, but I don't know where."
Palermo value him at £30 million and with the television deal monies, Arsenal will not find any difficulty in luring the striker to Emirates Stadium.
With Lukas Podolski all but set to leave Arsenal on a permanent basis this summer, Paulo Dybala could be a valuable addition to the Gunners roster given his age and phenomenal goal-scoring prowess.
