Arsenal have registered seven straight home wins since losing to Manchester United, but former Arsenal player Alexandre Song claimed that West Ham United would put an end to the winning streak emulating Monaco in the process.

Speaking ahead of London derby this weekend, the Cameroonian admitted the difficulty in hauling points from Emirates Stadium, but stated that Monaco had taught them how to break the Arsenal deadlock.

"I know this stadium very well and I know when you play with Arsenal it's very hard, but I think Monaco is how you want to play when you play in the Emirates.”

Arsenal are already known for their killer instinct, but Santi Cazorla and the likes have lately made them even deadlier given their results against the Manchester teams. The 27-year-old midfielder admitted that the Hammers would prioritize defence and try to capitalize through counter-attacks.

"The best thing to do is to try to be together, defend together very well and when you have the opportunity to go on the counter attack, you have to do it very well like Monaco did it.

"If you want to go to the Emirates and try to play you will not have any chance to win the game there because this stadium is very hard to play in.

"You have to stay together very compact and not give them any room, then take the opportunity on the counter attack.”

He reiterated how Monaco got the better of Arsenal in their Champions League fixture and almost divulged the tactics that Sam Allardyce might adopt on Saturday evening.

"If we do this very well like Monaco did, then we can get a good result there."

He seemed to have forgotten their dip as he boasted their results against the Premier League giants and also stated that they would replicate such results when they travel across London.

"We have shown a lot of things this season as a team, especially when we play against teams at the highest level like Manchester City and Liverpool or Tottenham. We've done very well and we need to continue to improve in this way."
