Arsenal lock horns with Aston Villa in their most decisive fixture of the season on Saturday evening as they look to retain the Football Association Cup and Ashley Westwood believes that Arsenal defenders may have to endure sleepless nights given the fear that Christian Benteke imposes.

The Belgian looked like a shadow of his former self early into the season as the Villains struggled to find the back of the net, but rediscovered his goal-scoring form following the appointment of Tim Sherwood. He has scored twelve goals in the past twelve outings and his team-mate believes that he is back to finest form.

"Christian Benteke was struggling with his Achilles early on and people didn't see that. They just expected him to walk back in and fire in the goals, but he's back to his best now, bullying defenders and I'm sure they'll have sleepless nights, they won't want to be playing against him.”

The 25-year-old sounded extremely ambitious as he stated that the Villa Park side could match the potential of any team and he added that Manchester United flop Tom Cleverley and the likes would trouble the Gunners on all fronts.

"We know how good we are, if we play like we can do we can match anyone. We've got internationals throughout the team, Fabian Delph and Tom Cleverley are on form, Christian is a real handful for anyone, I'm sure they'll be having sleepless nights about him."

Talking about world-class players and nightmares, the English midfielder seemed to have forgotten about names such as Alexis Sanchez and Santi Cazorla. It is funny how he believes the team that Arsenal demolished 5-0 could cause nightmares.
