Despite completing the highly controversial transfer of Petr Cech from cross-city rivals Chelsea only recently, Arsene Wenger does not seem to be in a mood to relax as media reported that the Gunners had entered the fray for the signature of Ramadan Sobhy.

Roma and a few other European sides have apparently kept tabs on the versatile player since his breakthrough, with the Italian club even believed to have readied a bid for him. Craig Honeyman claimed that his client was nowhere close to pledging his future to any club even though he cited Spain, Germany and France, besides Premier League as his potential suitors.

“We are aware of the interest from Roma and we have been in contact with them. There is also interest from Spain, Germany, France and the Premier League,” said the director of HSH Sports.

"Ramadan Sobhy is a special talent and at just 18 he has already established himself as a first team regular with the biggest club team in Africa whilst he is incredibly well thought of within the national team set up."

At a very tender age of eighteen, the Al Ahly midfielder is tipped in to achieve greatness as he has already been called up for international duty despite Egypt boasting one of the best midfielders in the continent.

Even though Arsenal have world-beaters in Jack Wilshere and the likes in their midfield, they don’t have young talents emerging with the exception of a very few such as Gedion Zelalem and the arrival of Ramadan Sobhy could solve the very crisis.
