According to reports, Birmingham City are plotting a surprise loan move for Daniel Crowley this summer to boost their chances of promotion to the Premier League after an absence of about five seasons.

Blues manager Gary Rowett has apparently identified the Arsenal youngster as a decisive tool in the progress of his side next season as he has time and again proved that he could be a part of the first team of any English club with his sublime performances for the youth side.

The former Aston Villa youngster has garnered comparisons to compatriot Jack Wilshere as a few fans claim that he could go on to emulate his success while a few supporters even bill him to become more successive than the England international given his eye for the goal.

At a tender age of seventeen, the loan switch can be pivotal for him as he would be offered valuable first team minutes at the Saint Andrew’s. Furthermore, the demands of the highly competitive Championship tournament could help him hone his skills.

Given his undeniable prowess, he should be playing senior football next season, but the Arsenal midfield is currently crowded with world-class talents and accordingly, the imminent transfer could prove to be beneficial to the three parties involved.
