As mentioned yesterday Jack Wilshere will be allowed to leave Arsenal on a season long loan.  According to various media outlets there were around 21 offers for the England midfielder.

Last night Sky Sports News HQ reported that there were five offers on the table which were Crystal Palace, Bournemouth, Watford, Sporting and Benfica. However, it was understood this morning that it was between Palace and Bournemouth.

Wilshere met Pardew yesterday and would favour this club due to it being in London however, Arsenal would prefer him to move to Bournemouth as they play similar football.  Arsenal also prefer this move as they are willing to pay his full wages unlike Crystal Palace.

However, within the last hour it is now understood that Roma are pushing hard to get a deal with Arsenal which would see Wilshere reunite with Szchesny.

Preferred Choice

In my opinion if Wilshere is to stay in the premier league then Bournemouth maybe the better option as they play similar football and have a manager which has a similar philosophy to Wenger. However, it would not be a surprise it he wanted to stay in London.

If he stays in England he will have to get use to the physicality each week and this may cause him more injuries which is why the loan to Italy may be more beneficial. In a less physical league Wilshere may get a longer run of games which will help him get back to full fitness.

Contract

It is understood that any loan would be the full season with no break clause.

Overall, there will be many twist and turns throughout the day regarding Wilshere but the clock is ticking for him to get a move away.
