Speaking to Telefoot (Team Talk in English), Arsenal star Laurent Koscielny has reiterated his happiness at the Emirates Stadium but has also admitted that an exit in the future is possible.

Koscielny was signed by Arsenal from Lorient during the summer of 2010 for a fee believed to be in the region of around £9 million and it would be fair to state that not many fans in England were aware of the defender’s abilities.

Naturally, Koscielny initially found it difficult to adapt to life in the Premier League but his struggles did not last long and the defender soon managed to establish himself as a mainstay in the Arsenal backline.

Six years on from his transfer to Arsenal, the Frenchman has already amassed over 250 appearances for the Gunners and is now considered by many as one of the best defenders in Europe at the moment.

At 31, Koscielny surely has a couple of years left in his locker at the highest level and he is certain to be crucial if Arsenal are to end their Premier League drought this year.

Happy at Arsenal

However, this has not stopped the media linking Koscielny with a move away from Arsenal and the defender has now gone on to address the issue.

Koscielny explained that he is more than happy to stay put at Arsenal for the foreseeable future but at the same time also admitted that a move away in the future is well within the realms of possibility.

He told Telefoot, "My future? I work really well with the club, they are happy with my work so I do not see why there would be a divorce. A desire to move again? It is always possible, but at the moment I have not taken a plane ticket."

Given the fact that Koscielny is happy to stay put at the Emirates Stadium, there is no reason why Arsenal will look to dispense with the services of their key defender anytime soon and talks about his exit is surely some media outlet trying to invent a story when there is none.
