Speaking to the Arsenal Player, superstar Alexis Sanchez has stated his belief that the Gunners will be very successful this season.

Arsenal have boasted one of the strongest squads in the Premier League over the past few seasons so but due to one reason or another, the Gunners always seem to fall short in their pursuit of the title in recent years.

Things are going well for Arsenal at the moment and there is a strong belief that the Gunners might just be able to end their long drought in the Premier League due to the fact that the current squad overall looks very balanced in every area of the pitch.

Nonetheless, the English top flight is a very difficult competition and for Arsenal to win the title this season, they will most certainly have to maintain their fine form as well as avoid their customary injury crisis throughout the course of the campaign.

It is not only the fans who are feeling confident regarding Arsenal’s chances this season though and now star man Alexis Sanchez has gone on to state his belief that his side will be successful this season if they are able to keep the team spirit high even if there are any unforeseen injury problems in the coming months.

Sanchez told the Arsenal Player, “I think we’re even more determined to achieve something and win the Premier League, but you have to take it slow. We have a great team, our ambitions are high and we want to win the league.

“We’ve got some new players and a fantastic squad. Regardless of who’s playing, we all need to be 100 per cent focused on our work with the team and the club.

Team Spirit the key to Arsenal's success this season?

“Sometimes you might have an off day and you need a player to come off the bench and help you out, so that’s why the squad players are just as important as the starting XI. Everything comes down to what happens from now on. All games are different and anything can happen in football.

“An important player might get injured - someone might leave, someone else might stay. It’s tough to keep it going, but if we stick together and keep putting the running in, I think this team can win it all.”

The optimism from Sanchez is certainly a positive but ironically, the Chilean has suffered an injury while on international duty recently and the club is sweating over the fitness of their star man ahead of the blockbuster encounter against Manchester United at Old Trafford.
