A lucrative new deal for Koscielny
The former Guingamp star’s current deal at North London expires in 2019 but Arsenal are believed to be ready to award their key man with a lucrative new deal and the fresh terms will make him one of the highest paid players in the Gunners’ squad, just below the likes of Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil.
While Koscielny may well have entered his thirties, he clearly has a number of years left at the highest level and tying down the defender to improved terms can be viewed as a very positive move by the Gunners.
