Hector Bellerin has unsurprisingly been one of the first names on the team sheet for manager Arsene Wenger this season and the defender has had a crucial role to play in the Gunners’ fine start to the campaign so far.

Given Bellerin’s importance to the team, fans were certainly left very worried after it was revealed that the right-back had suffered an ankle injury during the 1-1 draw against Tottenham Hotspur in the North London derby at the Emirates Stadium last month following a heavy challenge by Danny Rose.

Despite the absence of Bellerin, Arsenal have maintained their fine run of form by claiming seven points from a possible nine in the Premier League but the Gunners’ faithful would surely rather prefer having the 21-year-old in the starting lineup.

Now in news which will surely delight the Arsenal supporters, the Daily Mail have released images of Bellerin returning back to the pitch. The former Barcelona man trained alone at London Colney on Monday morning and he is expected to be close to making a full recovery in the next few days.

Arsenal square off against Basel in the final group game of the Champions League on Tuesday night and Bellerin will evidently not be featuring during the encounter as he has not travelled to Switzerland with the rest of the team.

However, there is now a strong possibility that Bellerin will be returning back to the lineup when Arsenal play hosts to Stoke City in the Premier League next weekend.
