Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has hinted that Hector Bellerin could well be in contention to feature in the clash against Stoke City this weekend.

Arsenal prepare to square off against Stoke City at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday and one can be sure that the Gunners will be desperate to claim all three points from the encounter in order to continue their title pursuit.

Arsenal are in fine form at the moment and with the likes of Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil firing on all cylinders, it is widely expected that the Premier League giants will be able to see off Stoke on the weekend, although the Potters themselves are in fine form.

Now as a huge boost ahead of the clash for Arsenal, it has been revealed that star defender Hector Bellerin could well be in contention to feature on the day.

Bellerin has been out of action for over a month since suffering an injury during the North London derby against Tottenham Hotspur and while Arsenal have done well in his absence, the Spaniard’s presence has certainly been missed.

Bellerin to return against Stoke?

In news which is sure to delight the fans, manager Arsene Wenger has dropped a huge hint that Bellerin may well be fit in time to feature against Stoke and added that Francis Couqelin will be available as well.

As quoted by Sky Sports, Wenger said, "Coming back into the squad are Francis Coquelin, who was suspended at Basel, and maybe Bellerin. He will have a test."

Gabriel Paulista has been doing very well at right-back during the absence of Bellerin but if fit, the young Spanish international should start against Stoke.
