Arsenal to launch mega bid for Antoine Griezmann

Antoine Griezmann is arguably one of the best attacking players in world football at the moment and it is understandable to see so many top clubs currently pursuing the services of the French international.

While Atletico Madrid want to keep hold of Griezmann for the foreseeable future, it seems inevitable that the attacker will be leaving the Vicente Calderon before too long and Manchester United have been placed as favourites to secure the services of the 25-year-old.

Now according to the Daily Mail, revelations can be made that even Arsenal are in the race to sign the attacker and the North London giants could be tempted to activate his release at Atletico, which is believed to be in the region of around £85 million.

Arsenal players celebrate the thrashing of Southampton on social media

Arsenal seemed like they would be in for a tricky FA Cup 4th Round clash against Southampton at the St. Mary’s Stadium but as it turned out, the Gunners enjoyed an extremely comfortable outing on the night.

A brace from Danny Welbeck and a fine hat-trick from Theo Walcott meant that Arsenal ran out 5-0 victors from the encounter and the result was most certainly a cause for celebration.

The Arsenal stars are clearly very active on social media and a host of players expressed their delight at their side’s victory by posting the following messages.

I'm sorry, but if anyone on this earth thinks that Wenger would make a bid for greizman they need to change their medication fast. Wenger buys 17/18 year olds to sell on for a million or so at 20/21.he doesn't have the pull or ability to persuade a player like Greizman to join us, why would he? Watching Wenger build a team is like watching a bucket fill one drip at a time, he knows Greedy Stan won't sack him,he makes him money every year, and Stan don't care about titles or cups, just profit. He may finally get benzema now he's 29 and surplus to requirements at RM, he couldn't even sign Carvalho when we needed him, he's a fraud,
