It is clear to see that Alexis Sanchez is currently not happy at Arsenal and there have been widespread rumors that the Chilean has fallen out with manager Arsene Wenger.
Now in an update to the Sanchez situation, the Daily Mirror have claimed that the attacker’s attitude has not impressed his Arsenal teammates and that he is currently becoming an outcast in the dressing room due to the sulking on the pitch as well as during training.
A dressing-room source told the Daily Mirror, “Alexis is being moody and disruptive and it’s getting to the rest of the squad. The players are getting fed-up with it. If it came to a straight choice between which side to choose, there is no doubt they would back the manager.”
Arsenal interested in 22-year-old £25million-rated defender
Arsenal have once again flattered to deceive this season and whether or not Arsene Wenger remains in charge of the club beyond the end of the current campaign, one thing is for sure – the Gunners will have to significantly strengthen their ranks next summer.
The central defensive area has proven to be a problem position for Arsenal and it is believed that the North London giants are currently plotting to recruit a new central defender in the form of Daniele Rugani.
Rugani is a talented centre back currently plying his trade for Juventus and although the 22-year-old has not quite been able to make a mark for the Italian champions’ first team, his potential is undoubted.
Arsenal are among the many keen admirers of Rugani and the Daily Star claim that the Premier League side would be willing to splash as much as £25million to sign the young defender next summer.
Cech urges senior players to step up
Arsenal finally managed to earn some respite following weeks of negativity by claiming a 5-0 triumph over Lincoln in the FA Cup Quarter-Finals on Saturday and the victory would surely have been a huge relief for the players and under fire manager Arsene Wenger.
Goalkeeper Petr Cech played well during the game and the veteran has now urged the senior members of the Arsenal squad to step up to the plate in order to achieve a more positive end to the season.
Cech said,"The senior players and everyone on the coaching staff needs to make sure that we are ready to finish the last games in the Premier League as well as possible.
"Obviously we are now in the FA Cup semi-final which is very important, and obviously the season might look completely different in a few weeks."
