WilshereHere's something we haven't seen for a long while. After his gradual rehabilitation from his long-term injury, future Arsenal and England captain, and all-round master of the universe Jack Wilshere has been named in Arsenal's squad for the trip to Norwich City tomorrow.

This comes as somewhat of a surprise, as Arsene Wenger made clear today that he wouldn't start a game until the League Cup clash with Reading later in the month.

It may be that Wilshere's desire to play swayed him, though Wenger doesn't seem the sort for that, and it's probable that the youngster won't play tomorrow and his inclusion in the squad is simply a re-integration exercise.

All change

Something very noticeable for Wilshere will be the turnover in playing staff. When he last turned out for the Gunners Wilshere played along the likes of Nasri, Fabregas and Eboue, as well as a certain Dutchman. While Cazorla, Podolski and Jenkinson certainly aren't a downgrade by any means, he'll need to form new understandings with his teammates which could take time, as well as getting back into the swing of things.

He's been described as 'eighty percent match fit' but that's just being able to run around for 90 minutes. Getting the little nuances could take weeks, and patience will be required on all parts.

Return of the King

Regardless of whether he plays or not, how exciting is this? Jack is back. Jack Wilshere. Brilliant.

Here's hoping for a win tomorrow.
