Walcott is going to be back fit for the Everton game after his shoulder injury ruled him out for the last 2 games, which is a delight for us as he has been 1 of our brightest sparks this season.

Impact

We’ll have our most experienced England international up against Leighton Baines, one of the best left backs in the Premiership and with Walcott’s sheer pace it will be enough to get in behind and deliver from wide positions.

Tactically Walcott will be used in a similar manner to what he has been in the couple of weeks before his injury. Making sure he fills the box when the ball is on the left to show his ability in front of goal. Because it was working well and without him we looked very lacklustre going forward. His pace will give us the extra dimension we clearly lacked at Villa.

However, with Wenger’s recent judgements it is likely that Theo may be started on the bench so that he can come on fresh and terrorise Everton’s left side towards the end of the game.

Theo to start

I think Theo should be thrown straight back into the mix, this will shake up the side and let them know that drab performances like the 1 against Villa aren’t acceptable.

Unfortunately that means Oxlade-Chamberlain has to make way as Walcott isn’t necessarily strong on the left and Podolski is doing little wrong.

As much as I rate Podolski I can’t help but get excited by the proposition of a front 3 of Walcott from the right, Giroud central and Oxlade-Chamberlain on the left.
