A 3-0 demolition away to Everton, during a title chase? Granted, it's the fourth place title, but seriously, what the hell was that? What do they think this is, a party? They've played with their "hands in the air" for 90 minutes yet never realise the roof is on fire.

Arsenal players do more pointing (at each other and opponents) than the average weatherman. A little warm breath on the backs of their necks from an opposing defender and they're on their backs waiting for their tummies to be tickled followed by all the gesturing and pointing when ignored by the referee. What do they think this is? No one wants to 'man up', except Flamini.

Five years after been described as boys by Manchester United's Patrice Evra, Arsenal’s performance at Everton today was not even sufficiently potent to consider them teenagers.

Three nil loss to Everton who has a game in hand potentially puts the lead who lead the league for 17 weeks into fifth and Wenger coining a new phrase to sanctify fifth as a worthy achievement. Arsenal has been grandiose in its failure, from top to fifth in five moves. He may not be an expert in failure, but certainly Wenger is becoming very good at it.

That display, was from a team that no player was available to improve. Such is the belief of Wenger, that this team will be the source of his redemption. If they are in fact so, Wenger must now be the weak link.

Kim Kallstrom deemed worthy has now recovered from a slipped disk to watch Arsenal slip from top to fifth in less time than it takes to ripen a Tesco banana.

Rodgers has taken Liverpool from 7th to a sustained challenge, Martinez resurrecting a sleeping giant to take four points off arsenal this season.

It is now evident, it isn't that Arsenal cannot be improved but instead Wenger is unable to improve himself or this team. He is now a prisoner of his initial success and the framework of his own rhetoric.

Everton were worthy winners and Arsenal absolute in their inferiority. This once superb ensemble has been reduced to a carcass. Gone are the days when Carlos Vela had to be satisfied with chipping the Sheffield United goalkeeper because he couldn't unseat Henry or Adebayor; now all we can do is stare open-mouthed as Sanogo fumbles his knees to hit a shot six yard wide from four yards in front of a goal. He certainly so far has improved Arsenal's comic value. Giroud; has done a Tiger Woods, someone needs to let him lose in a Harem, maybe then, he might score then. Apparently there's £100M to spend.

Arsenal fans, or at least the ones suffering ignominy of these recent performances, are at a loss as to what success merits the blind faith Wenger has shown these spineless comets, the board in Wenger and other fans in this board.

Despite the best scouting team, Arsenal has only been able to secure one worthy signing Ozil, since Arshavin and maybe Arteta. It is however baffling that a perennial participant in the champions league, top four contenders with the reported reputation of Wenger is unable to attract suitable talent.

Is it that they are unwilling to play for a ridiculed legend? Why are potential recruits more inclined to play for less in Germany than for a Premier club in the Premier league?

Arsenal may blame injury to players at key times of the season, but the key injury really is structural, not just to the playing staff, but also to the management, technical, administrative and support teams.

Arsenal has been waiting for a change in fortune; we must now demand the fortunes of change. This is required in every aspect of our play, management and support. It took illness for Bould's fresh blood to reform our defence and it will require the same in the boardroom.

Where's the security of our future? Where are the young academy players we'd look forward to seeing in the League Cup games? Not Kim Kallstrom and Viviano. We don't buy star and we no longer produce them. Our future stars are now 'denched' to the Barnsley dressing room and others akin. We are now fifth, we must change.

It's so hard to say goodbye to yesterday, but it's now midnight.
