Today’s Community Shield match against Manchester City brought more success for Arsenal. Arsenal ran out deserving 3-0 winners with goals from Cazorla, Ramsey and Giroud.

The Arsenal line-up featured 3 debutants which were Chambers, Debuchy and Alexis.  Cazorla scored in the 21st minute with a good goal which came from a bit of untidy play on the edge of the Manchester City penalty area.

This soon got better for Arsenal when Ramsey scored in the 42nd minute. Alexis slid the ball down the right which Sanogo picked up and laid off to Ramsey to slot home to make it 2-0.

However the best goal was yet to come and this was scored by Giroud scoring a 25 yard curling effort past Caballero.  This was a great goal and was a reminder that Giroud is a very good player and can score against the big teams.

The match ended 3-0 and this allowed Arsenal to lift the Community Shield. This was much needed and will give Arsenal a psychological boost against the big teams.

Although many fans of other teams will call this match a friendly Arsenal have every right to celebrate like Chelsea, Manchester United and City all before them. This has kept the winning feeling and allows Arsenal fans to get excited about the season ahead.

After watching Wilshere in the last two matches I really think it is time he is moved on. He cannot pass a ball, he goes to ground to easily and his tackling is terrible.

You gotta like Sanogo. All legs, big, agressive - and the defenders just don't know what to do with him. He creates chaos in the box. I see him creating lots of chances.

What is happening to Jack Wilshere? a few years back if he was surrounded by opposition players he would turn one way then the other until he could lay the ball off to someone else. Jack had the confidence to hold the ball, now it seems that skill has all gone now he runs blindly into trouble and then waits to get fouled. I hate to say it but Jack is a player going backwards and if things don't change he'll be occupying TV5'S place on the bench, Ramsey & co are starting to leave him behind.
