It was relief all-round at the Emirates on Saturday afternoon as the final whistle blew. An equaliser in the 91st minute was enough to share the points on a disappointing afternoon overall.

Arsenal took the lead in the 13th minute through the Chilean Alexis Sanchez who scored from the right hand side of the penalty area. However, the lead didn’t last long as Diame made a run making it 1-1 in the 17th. However, the goal should not have stood as there was foul on Flamini just before Diame had the shot.

This was one of a number of poor refereeing decisions on the afternoon. The referee had an awful game, often missing easy fouls to give such as a trip. Hull then took the lead straight after half time when Hernandez scored from a Huddlestone cross which Mertesacker should be disappointed with. Mertesacker was ball watching rather than attacking it.

Hull City defended superbly with constant blocking going in and Arsenal lacked the killer ball which was a feature of their performance. However, Welbeck scored in the 91st minute to get Arsenal a point. This was after a clever little run by Alexis who then produced the killer pass which allowed Welbeck to tuck it in.

Arsenal now trail Chelsea by 11 points and looks like we will be once again scrapping for 4th place. Ramsey returned and looked okay but lacked match sharpness. More bad news was to follow as Wilshere went off in the second half with an injury which has been subsequently confirmed as a twisted knee.

The optimism from the start of the season has well and truly gone now and Arsenal need to start producing if they are to finish in the top 4 at the minimum.

I am confused! We now have a goal keeper out injured!! So can I assume that we can obtain a replacement immediately on loan, as this is a specialist position.
On the transfer front, why are we still pursuing attacking players when all our problems are at the other end? At the beginning of the season, I doubted our ability to finish in the top four, now I doubt if we can finish in the top eight. If Mr. Wenger cannot see this, then sorry he must go. He has done well, but not seems out of touch with the current situation, problem is who can we get to replace him??? Suggestions please

does it hard to beat Hull? I think not. but arsene always makes it hard. i mean hull could play the same tactics against chelsea but chelsea still win. arsene need to change his strategy and tactics. i dont see any point passing the ball more often at enemy goal. arsenal should attempt long shoot rather than passing. when they take the ball, arsenal always play it slow rather than attempt fast break. and no more crossing please cause it ***s.

This is going to be the worst season ever because Wenger refused to do the right things attthe right time. There is an adage that says if you failed to plan, you plan to fail. I can't watch arsenal matches again because I feel paid and hot every time I watch this team play. And I blame the fans over there in London for not doing the right thing by protesting for a change in the transfer market.

We are currently suffering from a lazy midfield. The ball need to get from the back to the mid field quicker and the midfield needs to run to make themselves available. We cannot win with our slow buildup from the centre backs. Everyone knows they can pack defense and that we play passball around the outside outnumbered 2 to 1.

Once again an inept performance from a team that just dont know any way of playing apart from this over passing over elaborating stuff that just alliws the opponents to get nine players back to defend and leave one up by the halfway line to take on the eventual ball out,,horrible, and its down to the manager.he's been well n truly left behind in terms of tactics and transfers. Every season is the same and the fans deserve more but while Greedy Stans there Arsene can do what he wants ...Its time he went..

Too many draws, especially at home, is not good enough. It appears once again, that finishing in top 4 is going to be another mountainous task for Wenger. I think Wenger and the Board, should for once think of the fans who have stood by the club all these years. They need to buy in January. Enough of this gambling.

Its hightime wenger vacates the emirates stadium,I don't see the reason he is still there,he is tactically rusty and his one-dimensional football is failing him,his stubbornness and unwillingness to sign players is telling on him.he knew quite well that we needed a defensive midfielder and @ least two defenders after the sale of vermaleen.wenger should have resigned after the F.A cup win.

Referee Referee Referee.....

Yea go on, it all revolves around him anyway. But seriously, have you ever thought, if we had the quality, would this bad referring be on our mind? Meh. Maybe a bit but it will be brushed away.

One thing i was really happy today was not that we got a way with that. We dropped 2 points @ HOME against HULL! Im not saying Hull is an easy opponent but seriously how many draws are we going to get? Im happy with the fact that Campbell wad finally playing! LIKE FINALLY! You saw what he could gibe on the right hand side? He still need some more play time but other than that, DAAAAAYUM!

FINAL WORDS: Disappointing.Just disappointing.
