The last game of season ended in an Arsenal win which was routine. There were outstanding performances from Walcott and Wilshere who may have given a decision to Arsene Wenger about who to play in the cup final.

Ospina – 6 – A fairly easy game for Ospina as he didn’t have too much to do however he should have done better with the West Brom goal.

Bellerin – 7 – A fairly comfortable game for the Spanish right back who didn’t have too much defending to do.

Mertesacker – 7- A comfortable afternoon with hardly any defending to do

Gabriel - 7 – A solid performance from the centre half who dealt with the West Brom threat well.

Gibbs – 7 – A good game by Gibbs who got forward at will but didn’t have much to do going the other way.

Coquelin – 7 – One of Coquelin’s quieter games but still made sure the midfield was compact to limit space.

Cazorla – 7 – A good game by Cazorla who kept the ball well and had a curling shot well saved.

Wilshere - 9 – An outstanding game for Jack Wilshere who drove the team forward well and was instrumental in most of Arsenal’s great play. On that performance he may well start in the cup final. Moreover, he scored a great volley to make it 3-0 and is well worth a watch.

Ozil – 7 – A decent game from the German who showed his quality when on the ball with a few good pieces of skill.

Sanchez - 7- Sanchez was very good in the first half showing great combination play with Walcott and Wilshere and deserved a goal for his efforts.

Walcott – 9 – Walcott was outstanding up front today and showed why he may be able to lead the line. Walcott looked fresh and gave the West Brom defence a different challenge. Scoring three goals and looking dangerous all of the time Walcott may have played himself in to the cup final side.

Subs

Giroud – N/A – Didn’t have any influence

Ramsey – 7 – Looked good when coming on and could have a grabbed a couple of goals.

Oxlade- Chamberlain – N/A - Didn’t have any influence

Overall, it was a great way to end the season and showed that this Arsenal team can play some lovely football. Walcott and Wilshere were outstanding and both paid tribute to the Arsenal medical team by going over and celebrating with them. Next week the team return to Wembley which means Wenger has got some difficult decisions to make. Walcott’s performance has made this decision harder and showed why Arsenal need to get a new contract sorted.
