A terrific display by Arsenal moved them up to second in the league. The team was brilliant from the outset and so were the fans. Arsenal took the lead in the 6th minute through Sanchez before doubling it a minute later through Ӧzil. It then got even better in the 19th minute when Sanchez made it three.
Cech – 8 – An excellent performance by the shot stopper making a superb save just before half time to keep it 3-0. Although, he wasn’t busy Cech was outstanding showing leadership and presence.
Bellerin – 7 – A very good display by the young fullback who was key in the opening goal and defended superbly all game.
Mertesacker – 8 – An excellent performance by the big German who commanded the penalty area well. Mertesacker dealt with Martial well and often made important clearances.
Gabriel – 8 – A commanding performance by the centre half who defended well alongside Mertesacker.
Monreal – 7 – Another good performance by Monreal which is now the norm. Dealt with Mata well which was shown as he was hardly mentioned.
Coquelin – 7 – A good game by the enforcer who broke up the play well but didn’t have to make any last ditch tackles.
Cazorla – 9 – An outstanding game from the Magician who ran the show all match. Dictated the play all game and was one of the key factors to winning the game.
Ramsey – 7 – Ramsey had a good game and should have scored to make it 4-0. Played on the right and look a threat all game even when he moved inside. Was important in a couple of the goals often providing a key pass in the move.
Ӧzil – 9 –An outstanding performance from Ӧzil who looked at his very best. Contributed with a goal and assist but his all-round play was excellent.
Sanchez – 9 – A fantastic performance by the inform Chilean who scored two great goals. Looked dangerous all game against Darmian. He defended well with Monreal which led to Arsenal being dominant.
Walcott – 9 –Another impressive display in the central role, grabbed two assists and was hard working all afternoon.

Overall, it was a fantastic performance from the Arsenal who were brilliant in every department. Wenger had a great day tactically and will hope now that Arsenal can push on.
