Another excellent win for Arsenal which sees them move back up to second. After an even first half three goals in 12 minutes saw Arsenal run out deserved winners. Sanchez scored the first before Giroud scored after coming on from the bench. Ramsey then scored the third to seal the win.

Cech – 7 – A very good performance by the goalkeeper once again who gets another clean sheet.

Bellerin – 8 – Bellerin was fantastic all game providing an outlet all of the time on the right hand side. Moreover, he grabbed an assist for the third goal.

Mertesacker – 7 – A good game once again for Mertesacker who looks a lot better next to Koscielny.

Koscielny – 8 - Returned to the team after injury and was fantastic. At one point was isolated in the middle of the two centre forwards and cleared the ball after reading the game brilliantly.

Monreal – 7 – Monreal was at his usual best and defended well all game.

Coquelin – 7 – Coquelin continues to impress in that central position and made vital challenges once again. However, some of Coquelin’s passing was excellent today showing that he has much more to his game.

Cazorla – 7 – Cazorla showed his importance to this Arsenal side again providing the key ball in the move for the opening goal.

Ramsey - 8 – Ramsey scored his first goal of the season and could have had more. Worked hard for the team and showed why he plays on the right hand side.

Ӧzil – 8 – Ӧzil continued his good form and provided two assists. The second assist showed an excellent awareness.

Sanchez – 8 – Sanchez scored his sixth goal in three for Arsenal and impressed once again.

Walcott – 7 – A quiet day for Walcott who didn’t really have a sniff at goal. The only disappointment was that he was caught offside several times.

Subs

Giroud – 7 – Got a goal from the bench after coming on for the quiet Walcott. Giroud reminded us once again that he has a role to play this season.

Oxlade – Chamberlain – N/A – Didn’t have much time to influence the game

Arteta – N/A – Didn’t have much time to influence the game

Overall, an impressive win especially when you consider that all the teams around Arsenal won. The next game sees Arsenal come up against Bayern Munich in a must win game.

To be quite honest.Bayern is not a must win game.in fact if we lose both and finish bottom we then avoid the shame of Ch5 football in the Europy league and sunday home games.and our chances of the PL title would improve considerably.lets try and win a trophy thats not beyond us before we start trying to earn Silent Stan more CL cash eh??
