Arsenal got back to winning ways in the Premier League to reduce Leicester’s lead to five points. Goals from Ӧzil and Oxlade-Chamberlain were enough to seal the three points.

Cech – 7 - Didn’t have much to do but when needed did what he had to do. Pulled off a great save in the first half to keep it 2-0 and an excellent double save at the end.

Bellerin – 7 – A very good performance by Bellerin who was solid defensively and good going forward.

Gabriel – 7 – Looked a lot better today and defended well for large parts. A bit panicky in his clearances but should get better when he gets a run of games.

Koscielny – 7 – Was okay defensively but looked a bit nervy at times.

Monreal – 7 – Defensively solid and went forward with good effect.

Flamini – 6 - Should have probably been sent off early on but stayed disciplined for the rest of the game.

Ramsey – 8 – A much better performance from Ramsey who looked a lot more positive and was key in both goals.

Oxlade–Chamberlain – 7 – A much better performance from the Ox who scored his 1st league goal of the season. Hopefully this will give him a much needed confidence booster.

Ӧzil – 8 – Grabbed a goal to open the scoring which was important. Played really well and is going to be pivotal in the coming weeks.

Sanchez - 7 –Wasn’t at his best but did enough after continuing his return from injury. He created a couple of chances but no one was attacking the ball in the middle.

Giroud – 6 – Didn’t really get a chance but held up the ball when needed.

Subs

Coquelin – 6 – Continued his return from injury and just managed the situation.

Gibbs – N/A – Didn’t have much time to influence the game

Walcott – N/A - Didn’t have much time to influence the game

Overall, a good win in the end which puts Arsenal back right in the title race. Next week is one of the biggest games of the season when Leicester come to the Emirates.

Good performance. But Arsenal still need a competent striker. The striker that can really give the opponent's defenders tough time throughout the game and that can give the fans what they really want that's winning. The striker that can convert at least 3 of 5 chances giving to him.

Ramsey max 4. Worst player on the field.
