A late header from Giroud saw Arsenal steal a point after an abysmal display. After a tepid first half Mata gave United the lead before an Oxlade-Chamberlain cross found Giroud to head home. The display was poor from Arsenal throughout with the whole team not performing.

Cech – 7 – Cech played well throughout the game and made two crucial saves in the first half.

Jenkinson – 6 – Jenkinson made his first league start of the season and played okay. Was shaky defensively and didn’t really get chance to go forward.

Mustafi – 7 – Played well defensively showing what a useful addition he has been to this team.

Koscielny – 7 – A good defensive performance alongside Mustafi.

Monreal – 5 – Had an awful game and was run ragged by Valencia.  He was lucky not to concede a penalty in the first half.

Elneny – 6 – Works hard in the centre of the park but not enough offered going forward.

Coquelin – 7 – Had a good game and made some crucial tackles. Was one of the only players to show some passion.

Walcott – 6 - A fairly quiet game and never really got into the match.

Ӧzil – 6 – Wasn’t involved in the game but he wasn’t helped by Sanchez who continually kept dropping deep.

Ramsey – 6 – Ramsey started on the left hand side and was poor. He kept giving the ball away and needs to sort out his first touch.

Sanchez – 6 – Was trying to get involved but didn’t look fit after the injury. Needs to try and stay up the pitch.

Subs

Giroud – 7 – Scored the equaliser to get a crucial point.

Xhaka – 6 – Didn’t really influence the match.

Oxlade – Chamberlain – 7 – Came on at right back and delivered the cross for the goal.

Overall, in the end it will go down as a great point but it was a poor performance. Arsenal need to wake up and be more ambitious or the league title will slip away. However, a point away at Manchester United is a good point and Arsenal remain unbeaten in the league since Liverpool.

We played exactly how I expected us too, sloppy passing, lack of belief, square ball every opportunity, Walcott disappears, ozil disappears, Wenger sitting on his hands watching while it was obvious from 20 minutes that the game needed giroud, Utds defence is poor and Ollie would of ruined them if he'd had more time, trust me,this season will be Groundhog Day again,Wenger cannot do it, he can't change to suit the game, yesterday's man with yesterday's plan!!

I watched the game from the blast of the whistle till the last minute of it I most a fair point we got at old Trafford all thanks to Giroud who got all the important equaliser at the thick doth of the game but apparently the gunners did not show any sign they really come to win the match Ramsey keeps showing his lack of depth his presence on the pitch add nothing to the squad his game is too abysmal and shallow i don't believe this spirit displayed by arsenal we can challenge for the title unless we improve our game system honestly man united with their approach to the game yesterday can be beaten by any team that mean business but the lack of mentality exhibited by d gunners is worrisome Wenger should get his thinking cap fixed and get his tactics well I believe this season is ours #COYG
