Arsenal take all three points in the 97th minute to move up to second in the table. Arsenal took the lead through a Mustafi header. Xhaka then saw a straight red for a two footed lunge not long after. Things then got worst for Arsenal after Coquelin gave away a 93rd minute which meant Burnley levelled the match. However, Arsenal won a penalty in the 97th minute which Sanchez subsequently, scored.

Cech – 6 – Pulled off a few saves but should have done better with the penalty.

Gabriel – 7 – Solid at right back and defended well throughout the match.

Mustafi – 7 – Scored the opener with his first goal for the club. Wasn’t at his best the first half but looked more comfortable in the second.

Koscielny – 7 – Won the penalty and defended well throughout against the dangerous Gray.

Monreal – 7 – Defended well for large parts of the game as Gray tried to exploit his side.

Xhaka – 6 – Was having a good game until the red card. Needs to improve his decision making.

Ramsey – 7 – Had a good game in the centre and looked dangerous when going forward.

Iwobi – 7 – Tried to penetrate the Burnley backline all game and looked like he would create an opening.

Ӧzil – 8 - Was excellent throughout and looked like he was going to create all afternoon. Got an assist for the opening goal.

Sanchez – 7 – Was always looking to score a goal and calmly scored a cheeky penalty.

Giroud -7- Didn’t score today but his general play was good throughout.

Subs

Coquelin – 6 – Gave away the penalty but had to try and anchor the midfield after going down to ten men.

Welbeck – N/A –  Didn’t have much time to influence the game.

Bellerin – N/A – Didn’t have much time to influence the game.

Overall, it wasn’t a bad performance but Arsenal will be relieved after a fortunate win. Xhaka must become better in his decision making or he will become a liability like I suggested in my ratings versus Liverpool. Anyway it was an important win after results went our way yesterday.
