Yet another rebuffed bid for Luis Suarez will be improved and sent right back to Anfield, in an attempt to finally land to wantaway forward.

The saga has now run on for weeks, with Liverpool’s reluctance to sell the Uruguayan becoming clear by their constant moving of the goalposts.

It looks like only £50million will be enough if we are to see Suarez donning the Arsenal crest next season.

Repetition

The saga has run on so long and with so many minor twists and turns that all the stories surrounding Suarez are beginning to look very similar.

There is still the speculation that Real Madrid could swoop for the 26-year-old, despite their preoccupation with Spurs’ Gareth Bale. It is well publicised

that Suarez would rather a move away from the Premier League in order to escape his turbulent past season and avoid seeing out his ban for biting.

The longer the Deal rumbles on, the more likely Suarez is to push for a deal himself. Although a written transfer request is more than Arsenal can hope for, the drawn out nature of the negotiations could leave Suarez frustrated and more likely to fight tooth and nail for a move.

Arsenal are set to improve on their £40,000,001 deal, with Suarez now their sole target, having missed out on Higuain and Bernard quashing rumours of Arsenal tabling a bid.

But the soap opera that is the life of Luis Suarez is bound to end ugly, with the Uruguayan likely to fall out with his current employers.

liverpool fans are so bitter its hilarious

Truth is liverpool without suarez are a 10th - 15th position club and the fans know it

Only one quality player carrying liverpool and now that hes leaving the fans are s-h-i-t-i-n-g all over themselves

YNWA even when your a mid table club hahaha

Suarez never played for the reds the latter end
of last season , we were far more productive when our resident magician Coutinho was allowed to pull the strings.

It does however escape me how any player
would want to play in front of your lot at that
veritable ghost town known to us travelling fans
as the library lol.

Sorry my friend but I have been told by a source extremely close to LFC that they WILL NOT sellsuarez to arsenal! He is going to Madrid as soon as they put a £40 million bid in !
Rodgers does not sell to his rivals like wenger. YNWA

The only "source" you've got is hot tomato chili sauce.

The maths for Liverpool are simple. They just have to weigh up the pros and cons of selling. The pros are essential will they be able to buy in players with the money they get for Suarez who will then make the team stronger overall than if he stays and secondly, do they view Arsenal as a team that will seriously undermine their own hopes of a top 4 finish with Suarez there. If I were at Liverpool I would not be sure either way.

Meet the valuation that will allow a sale then you can have him. As for the 'constant moving of the goalposts', the only thing that's been moving are Arsenal's bids gradually upwards.

Maybe Liverpool should just sell at whatever price Arsenal state. Then maybe you'll be satisfied that the goalposts have remained stationary.

Suarez is definitely worth 50 million pounds as a striker if Cavani and Falcao went for same price. In case of Suarez , however there are deductions. 2.5 million for racial abuse,of Evra ,3.5 million for biting Ivanovic and 1.5 million for wanting to quit Liverpool FC. This brings his true value closer to42.5 million pounds and if Liverpool now what's good for them they will get rid of him for around that price.

I think you are right but only after you have changed your colour to all white, changed the name of your stadium and started to call yourselves Real Madrid of not so sunny north London.

Seun Babs, Every red knows Suarez will be leaving us this season, but 40mil + £1 is a joke, he is worth 50mil+ so when and only when Arse make a 50mil+ bid will LFC actually accept the bid, why should we sell for less?
+7 #4 TC 2013-07-27 09:17
He won't be coming to us, its all bollocks by Wonger, just a smoke screen to say we tried but couldn't buy any class.

Rodgers is very inexperienced....the scope of football has changed and he needs to understand this. Football is politics these days. I believe Suarez will come to Arsenal and the ppl behind the scene has got it all planned out. I saw a report early July that WilliamHill closed the bet on this Suarez to arsenal issue. What convinced Wenger so positively that made him stall on Higuain's deal. FIGO from Bercelona to Real Madrid, RVP from arsenal to ManU. My dear Liverpool fans, jus take the money and move on.
