Talks are still flowing for the signature of young German star Draxler from Schalke but with only 2 days left in the transfer window Arsenal need to have back ups which could actually join the club.

Rumours have started to emerge that Polish goalkeeper Lukas Fabianski, who is a summer target for the Bundesliga club, could be part of a deal which sees him go to Schalke and Draxler to London.

Tello

Although Arsene Wenger denied being in Spain last week to watch Barcelona to play they have still been linked with a move for their 22 year old attacker Tello.

The player’s main asset is his pace which would prove very effective after seeing the lack of pace during Arsenal’s 2-2 draw against Southampton on Tuesday night.

Due to Theo Walcott’s injury Wenger has been relying greatly on the 18 year old German Serge Gnabry but he sees that he cannot continue to do this. However due to this only being a rumour it is unclear whether Barcelona will allow the youngster to leave.

Other players

Arsenal have also made another approach towards Real Madrid’s Alvaro Morata and PSG’s Blaise Matuidi but the most promising link has been towards Juventus forward Vucinic.

The striker has been training away from the first team and it looks like Juventus want to offload the player this transfer window. Wenger would only want a loan deal until the end of the season and it has been reported to striker is due for a medical today in London.

Race against the clock

With only 2 days left of the transfer window Arsenal will have to act very fast to sign at least 1 player. Expect there to be many rumours until midnight tomorrow night but it does seem likely signings will be made due to injuries.
