According to The Telegraph today, star striker Edinson Cavani could well be on his way out of French side PSG after coach Laurent Blanc confirmed the news that the club will be getting rid of some players this transfer window.

In a press conference before PSG’s game with Evian, PSG boss, Blanc, stated that some players will be leaving the Paris club in the next month:

"There will certainly be exits out of PSG in the winter market,"

Uruguayan striker Cavani has been left frustrated at PSG, being played out of position and it has been reported that PSG have lost patience with the striker and want to offload him.

Arsene Wenger has been a keen admirer of Cavani and perhaps now is the time act and put a bid in to test the waters. This could be a signing that would show that the Gunners should be in contention for Premier League titles and not just a top four side. A striker is not our top priority at the club at the moment but when a player of this quality becomes available, you should try to buy him.

Gabriel Paulista

As reported, Gabriel Paulista is hopeful of a move to Arsenal following his comments that it is his “dream” to move to England and play football in the Premier League. It is believed that Paulista has jumped ahead of St. Etienne’s Loic Perrin as Wenger’s top defensive target:

“I will not lie to you. Before the end of the year, before the whole story of interest from Barcelona and Arsenal even happened, my manager was here and had a conversation with him.

“One of the things I said was my dream to play in England. I have this desire. Now this [the stories linking him to Arsenal], for me it was a great joy.”

Marcelo Brozovic

The Telegraph also understands that Arsenal will once again make a move for Dinamo Zagreb’s Marcelo Brozovic. The Gunners already had a bid for the midfielder rejected in the summers and it appears negotiations will re-open between the two clubs in the next few days.
