We have been constantly reporting about the future of star strike, Edinson Cavani and recent reports suggest that PSG striker would welcome a move to Arsenal over other clubs in England.
Cavani’s future in Paris has been in doubt after he failed to report to a winter training camp in Morocco this month. PSG coach Laurent Blanc also hinted that some of the players in the club would be leaving this window, many hinting that this could mean Cavani.
“It's not impossible that one of our players will leave”
He went on to mention certain players from the squad:
"Thiago Motta, Lavezzi and Cavani? None of them has asked me to leave, and, moreover, it would be difficult for me to let them go.
"We have no offers from other clubs."
His uncertain future has alerted may clubs to his availability including Manchester United and Liverpool however it is apparently the North London club who Cavani would much rather play for if he is to leave the Parc des Princes this window.
It seems as though coaches and backroom staff have been growing frustrated with Cavani and may have lost patience in the striker and have now decided to ship him off.
As we reported before, it would take a huge bid to sign the striker and it is not Arsenal’s priority to bring in a forward, it would still be a great addition to the squad, nobody can doubt that. T
his transfer story seems to take a twist with each day, so don’t be surprised if there is another development on the possible transfer of Cavani by tomorrow.
It is unclear whether Cavani will be sole this window but it would more than likely be a summer move, according to reports.
