Arsenal may be tempted to cash in on the turmoil surrounding the Newcastle United future of Roland Aarons to lure him to the Emirates Stadium this summer, according to strong suggestions from the English media.

The England youth international apparently intends to extend his stay at the Saint James' Park beyond this season, but his club are the least entertained by his wage demands as they believe that he has still not accomplished enough to deserve such incentives.

Amidst reports stating that his agent and the Tyneside club were working on a new deal, the Express quickly refuted such claims and even went on to claim that a bid from Arsenal could be on the pipeline.

Arsene Wenger has already brought down four top-notch teenagers - Donyell Malen, Yassin Fortune, Jeff-Reine Adelaide and Vlad Dragomir - to boost the level of performance in the youth tournaments and would find it hard not to try and sign the Jamaica-born winger.

Liverpool are also believed to be monitoring the situation, despite making seven signings this summer. Arsenal, however, could be the most enticing option amongst the three clubs involved for the teenager could get to train under Arsene Wenger and alongside Mesut Ozil and the likes.

Roland Aarons, despite being unproven, can be deemed a decent prospect given the fact that he was involved in two goals in a meagre of 128 Premier League minutes last season and could be a good asset in the event of Arsenal wrapping him up in a red and white shirt.
