The Athletic★★★New2 months ago ·Arsenal have agreed a £51 million deal plus add-ons to sign Aston Villa defender Ezri Konsa. According to reporting by The Athletic and BBC Sport, the final compromise fee is slightly lower than Villa's initial €60m (£51.4m) asking price, but the package bridges the valuation gap through structured add-ons. The 28-year-old England international has already said his goodbyes to teammates at Bodymoor Heath and is scheduled to undergo his medical on Thursday ahead of signing a long-term contract
