Bayern Munich won’t get in Arsenal’s way if the Gunners go back in for Kenan Yildiz, according to BILD’s Christian Falk. Yildiz spent ten years in Bayern’s system before 2022, and Falk says there is regret in Munich about letting him go, but the cost of bringing him back means they won’t try. Gianluca Di Marzio has said Juventus will want well over €120m and possibly as much as €150m before agreeing a sale, which is around £128m at the top end. Falk says the situation isn’t very hot at the moment.

Why Kenan Yildiz?
Kenan Yildiz, 21, is Juventus’ No 10, a left-sided forward who cuts inside to shoot or create. He had 14 goals and 10 assists last season, but a broken metatarsal has limited him to 69 minutes this term. Only 21, and Spalletti compares him to Kvaratskhelia, praising his unpredictability and “madness of invention”.
